My journey began in the vibrant streets of New York City, where I grew up in a rich cultural tapestry as a Puerto Rican & Punjabi individual. My passion for creativity led me to the School of Visual Arts and a dream career as an art director at the Food Network.
But my wanderlust soon took me beyond NYC. I designed textiles in Dhaka, explored Spanish cuisine in Lugo, and taught English in Gwangju, South Korea. These experiences ignited my desire to create meaningful travel experiences for others, which led to the birth of Cheema’s Travel—a boutique agency dedicated to culinary journeys and deeper connections.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve navigated the highs and lows of the travel industry, building Cheema’s Travel into what it is today. My mission has evolved to include coaching fellow travel advisors and helping them set achievable balance in their careers and lives by reclaiming their freedom and power. Through vulnerability and honesty, I aim to inspire others to reclaim their power and thrive.
Now, I’m embracing my identity as an artist and medium, exploring new dimensions of my work, including past life regression. My relationship with travel began as a kid moving around with my military family. I was lucky to have parents that made sure we took full advantage of the travel opportunities at each new base. As my curiosity and passion for exploring continued to grow, I began to feel confident enough to take the lead in planning trips for friends and family.
As a travel advisor and dedicated solo traveler, I specialize in custom culinary, shopping, wellness, and art-centric adventures for solo travelers, couples, and small groups. As a water lover, my interest extends into booking dream cruises. Country specializations include Germany, Spain, Portugal, and the United Arab Emirates.

My love for travel began as a child when I traveled from Los Angeles to a land of seemingly endless fields of cacti and corn to visit my grandmother in Mexico. Over the last 20 years, I’ve found joy in planning adventures for myself and others to explore, learn, and connect with different places and cultures. Through my solo travels, I experienced the power of travel to bring forth transformation: both for an individual’s mind, body, and spirit, as well as for the communities and ecosystems travelers touch.
As a travel advisor, I aim to support travelers in building itineraries that spark transformation with joy, wonder, and connection, while centering the sustainability of the communities that make these places so wonderful to visit in the first place.
